Locker will sit against Vikings -- Tue Oct 2 11:56 am --
Hasselbeck will start Sunday in Minnesota | Jake Locker (shoulder) will not play this week against the Vikings in Minnesota. Locker dislocated his shoulder for the second time this season, in the first quarter, against the Texans last Sunday. The quarterback previously dislocated his shoulder in Week 1 against the Patriots, but this injury is said to be much more severe. Veteran Matt Hasselbeck will start this week in Lockers absence. FF Today's Take: While the news about Locker may be of some concern to fantasy owners of the second year quarterback, Locker owners should be wise to start Matt Hasselbeck in deeper or two quarterback leagues. Fresh off the bench Hasselbeck completed 68% of his passes for 193 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions against the NFL’s top defense. Hasselbeck completed passes to eight different receivers and Kendall Wright lead the team with eight targets. Minnesota ranks ninth in total defense but 18th in takeaways this year.
