Britt blames follow-up surgery for latest woes

FF Today's Take: Britt tore the ACL and MCL in his right knee last September and had a clean-up surgery on that knee in May, but he also had a procedure in late June on his other knee to remove some damaged cartilage. And that, he says, is what is keeping him on the physically unable to perform list. Britt said “Hopefully, I'll get back for the first week of the regular season or maybe even closer than that. I'm just taking it a day at a time.” And we haven't even talked about the possible suspension!
