Giants receiver to begin team drills next week
Hakeem Nicks looked good, really good, while opening up his stride as he ran routes on a side field during practice today. The Giants have activated Nicks off the physically-unable-to-perform list 11 weeks and four days after he suffered his injury in an OTA practice on May 24. (Star Ledger)

FF Today's Take: Nicks is expected to be limited in practice this week and likely won't play in preseason game No. 2 against the Jets. but will begin team practice next week. Assuming no setbacks occur all signs are pointing to Nicks being ready for Week 1.
