Domestic battery
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson was arrested Saturday night for misdemeanor domestic battery, according to Davie (Fla.) Police Department captain Dale Engle. Johnson is in police custody, and will have to see a judge before he can be released. "We are aware of the situation and are in the process of gathering all relevant information," the Dolphins said in a statement. (ESPN)

FF Today's Take: There are more details to come on this story but clearly this is not good news for the Dolphins receiver. What, if any, discipline from the league or the team remains uncertain at this time.
