Won't play in tonight's preseason game
David Garrard suffered a knee injury that will require surgery. "Just got off phone w David Garrard, says he's getting his knee scoped tomorrow and docs tell him 2-4 weeks rec time. "Nothing happened, just Father Time, wear and tear. They have to take out loose things floating around." (Jay Glazer via Twitter)

FF Today's Take: The recovery would allow Garrard to be available for Week 1 but he will miss valuable training camp time in the process. Matt Moore and Ryan Tannehill will have a chance to start Week 1.
