T.O. agrees with the Seahawks-- Mon Aug 6 7:30 pm --
Seattle in need of veteran wide receiver help
The negotiation wasn't as fast as Terrell Owens' time in the 40-yard dash on Monday, but it was pretty speedy, as the Seahawks have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with Owens, according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports. The 38-year-old Owens is one of the most prolific receivers in NFL history, but he's also a full season and one major knee surgery removed from his last game in the NFL. (Seattle Times)
FF Today's Take:Owens reportedly ran a 4.5 40-yd dash for the Seahawks on Monday but it remains to be seen exactly how much football Owens has left in the tank. The signing of Braylon Edwards last week and now Owens isn't good news for Golden Tate. Right now, we consider Owens nothing more than a WR4 given the Seahawks' mediocre passing attack.
