The Seahawks have signed veteran wide receiver Braylon Edwards, adding another experienced pass catcher to the training camp competition for the No. 2 receiver spot.
League sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that Edwards agreed to a one-year deal. (ESPN)
FF Today's Take:The Seahawks have an open competition for the starting job opposite Sidney Rice. Golden Tate is currently holding down that spot but this signing muddies the waters for Tate and Ben Obomanu. Edwards was released by the 49ers last year.
