Broncos sign K Prater to 4-year deal-- Mon Jul 2 1:00 pm -- Franchised kicker gets long-term deal
The Broncos have signed kicker Matt Prater to a four-year contract, according to a tweet from team executive vice president John Elway Monday morning.
"This was the final piece in setting our roster for camp, and we are thrilled Matt is going to be a Bronco for a long time," Elway tweeted.

FF Today's Take:Prater has been a solid kicker during his career and one of the best from 50+ yards but thanks to an anemic Bronco offense, he finished 30th among fantasy kickers in 2011. He'll be a borderline starter with Mr. Manning leading the Broncos in 2012.
