Harvin's touches may not change -- Sun Jun 24 10:30 pm --
Vikes HC wants to be careful about overusing him | If WR Percy Harvin had concerns about his role in the offense, it may not be changing much. “[His] snaps may go up,” coach Leslie Frazier told ESPN 1500. “Touches, I don't know about that. We want to keep him on the field more, but his style -- he's a reckless guy and doesn't hold anything back. It's always goes 100 miles an hour. So you have to be careful about not overusing him.” (CBS Sports)
FF Today's Take: It's understandable why the Vikings would want to protect Harvin from himself, but can they really afford to place an artificial limit on one of the few playmakers in their offense? Based on Frazier's comments and OC Bill Musgrave's conservative offense, Harvin should not be expect to top last year's impressive numbers. While he finished among the top 10 at his position in 2011, his limited role makes him more of a fantasy WR2 this season.
