Shifty RB played just six games in 2011
Detroit Lions running back Javhid Best has been cleared for contact in June, according to the team’s official site. “He’s been doing everything in the offseason program and we expect he’ll be cleared sometime probably in June,” Lions general manager Martin Mayhew told Mike O’Hara and Ken Brown on WJR Monday night. “We look forward to having him on the field.” (SI)

FF Today's Take: Best was one of the most highly regarded running backs of the 2010 draft class but his career has gotten off to a shaky start. After a mediocre rookie season, Best's initially impressive 2011 campaign was derailed by a serious concussion. He'll be a high risk, potentially high reward fantasy pick this year.
