Former Longhorn still sees himself as a starter
Vince Young wants to be a Texan. And he will tell anyone who listens. On Thursday, he repeated his desire to play for the Texans on KILT radio here in Houston. “I would love to play at home,” the former Madison and UT star quarterback said. “That would be a dream come true and anything I can do to help out with the team.” “All I can do is just stay ready, keep working out and training in Houston and waiting for that opportunity to come.” Young currently is a free agent. FF Today's Take: Don't hold your breath on this one. The Texans appear happy with Pro Bowl quarterback and 2009 passing yards leader Matt Schaub under center, and with TJ Yates backing him up.
