Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith agreed to a three-year contract extension through 2015, an NFL source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. The deal is expected to be signed and announced later Tuesday. (ESPN)

FF Today's Take: Smith had a resurgence in 2011 with 79 receptions, 1394 yards and 7 TDs - his first 1000-yard season since 2008. Smith was entering the final year of his contract and will be 33 in May.
