A.J. Green already turning heads     -- Mon Aug 1 6:45 pm --

Teammate says rookie is "in the upper echelon right now"
That head coach (Bengals HC Marvin Lewis) is like everyone else down here at camp raving about No. 1 pick A.J. Green. He catches everything, no one's covered him, and when he is, he jumps up and takes it away. "He showed his physical prowess out there today," said Lewis with a shake of his head at his own news conference. Even though the Bengals had a pair of 10,000-yard receivers last year in Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens, Lewis offered, "He's an upgrade … we're improved athletically." "He's in the upper echelon right now, I'd say," said S Chris Crocker, a vet of 110 NFL games. (bengals.com)

FF Today's Take: More than a few draft analysts suggested Green was the best receiver prospect to come out of the draft since Calvin Johnson, so fantasy owners will need to be ready to pay for his services as his bandwagon continues to grow over the next month. View him as a high-upside WR3 in 12-team leagues for now with his QB situation capping his fantasy potential in 2011.
