Cardinals sign TE Charles Clay One-year deal By: Mike Krueger | Feb 19 2019, 11:40 am
Former Bills’ tight end Charles Clay is signing a one-year deal worth up to $3.25 million that includes a $350,000 signing bonus with the Arizona Cardinals, per source. Clay was heading into the last year of a 5-year $38 million deal signed in 2015. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take:Clay was released by the Bills last Friday and joins Jermaine Gresham as the only two tight ends under contract with Ricky Seals-Jones an exclusive-rights free agent and likely to return. New head coach Kliff Kingsbury hasn't been known to favor the tight end in his offense but we'll get a better idea of his scheme during minicamp and training camp.
