Offield concerns for Benglas RB Mark Walton
Battery, misdemeanor marijuana possession
By: Mike Krueger | Feb 18 2019, 1:00 pm

Mark Walton, the former University of Miami star football player and current Cincinnati Bengal, was arrested on a battery charge over the weekend. Turns out, it was his second arrest this year in South Florida. Court records show that Walton, 21, was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession on Jan. 16 in North Miami-Dade, a case that had gone previously unreported. (Miami Herald)

FFToday's Take: These incidents could cost Walton some playing time in 2019. The battery charge stems from an argument and scuffle with a woman in which Walton snatched a cell phone out of her hand. Walton served as the Bengals third running back last season behind Joe Mixon and Giovani Bernard, rushing for 34 yards on 14 attempts.
