RB Melvin Gordon is officially inactive tonight. He won’t play for a third-straight week. (BJ Kissel on Twitter) FFToday's Take: According to various reports, the decision came down to pre-game warmups, but either Gordon or the coaching staff didn't feel quite right about playing him. With Austin Ekeler already ruled out, seventh-round rookie Justin Jackson is setting up for a potential surprise top-10 play at running back this week against one of the worst defenses against running backs in the Chiefs. Detrez Newsome should mix in, but Jackson is in line for 20-plus touches if he starts out hot Thursday.
