Washington Redskins

Chris Thompson a no-go for Week 10
Fourth absence in the last five games
By: Doug Orth | Nov 9 2018, 1:20 am

Redskins RB Chris Thompson has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay. This isn't a surprise given his rib issues and has missed three of the last four games. Kapri Bibbs will continue in the third down role. (ESPN - John Keim)

FFToday's Take: The change-of-pace/passing-down back role in Washington has taken on added importance recently, as the Redskins' offensive line has been decimated by injury. While Adrian Peterson has shown the ability to catch the ball this season, Thompson's continued absence means Kapri Bibbs should be in line for at least five to eight touches and potentially more against the high-scoring Buccaneers. Given the likely game script, Bibbs could be a high-end flex option this week.
