Geronimo Allison out indefinitely
May require core muscle surgery
By: Doug Orth | Nov 5 2018, 5:05 pm

Packers HC Mike McCarthy said WR Geronimo Allison saw core injury specialist William Meyer in Philadelphia and he has a significant injury. Meyer operated on Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins in recent years and sounds like he will be operating on Allison. (Tom Silverstein on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Allison emerged as a viable fantasy WR3 in September before a hamstring injury sidelined him for two games. He was limited in his return to action in Week 8 and promptly suffered a groin injury in practice last week, and it appears serious enough to potentially end his season. Marquez Valdes-Scantling had already emerged as a big-time playmaker in his absence and should be considered a high-upside WR3 as the likely starter opposite Davante Adams moving forward.
