Dallas Cowboys

Amari Copper traded to Dallas
Raiders receiver 1st round pick
By: Mike Krueger | Oct 22 2018, 3:10 pm

The Oakland Raiders will trade wide receiver Amari Cooper to the Dallas Cowboys, a source told ESPN's Josina Anderson on Monday. The Raiders will receive a first-round draft pick in exchange, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Oakland will now have three first-round picks in 2019 after also getting the Chicago Bears' selection in last month's Khalil Mack trade. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: It will be fun discussing the Raiders and there 3 first round draft picks this upcoming off-season but for now, it's difficult to see how they are going to score any points for the remainder of 2018. Cooper moves to a team depleted at the wide receiver position so he'll become a starter once he's able to digest the playbook. This is likely a lateral move for his fantasy value given run-heavy approach of the Dallas offense and the time it takes receivers to adjust to their new surroundings.
