DeSean Jackson expected to play Should clear concussion protocol Sunday By: Mike Krueger | Sep 16 2018, 1:00 am
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver DeSean Jackson is expected to clear the concussion protocol and play against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, a source told ESPN. Jackson missed Wednesday's padded practice, but he took part Thursday and Friday while still in the protocol. A player must be cleared by an independent neurological consultant in order to play on Sunday. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take:Jackson, like many of the Bucs receivers had a stellar day in Week 1 against the Saints. With Jackson expected to play and a full complement of receivers available for Ryan Fitzpatrick, it will be difficult to trust Jackson or Chris Godwin as anything more than a flex option.
