Saquon Barkley pulls hamstring Monday
No. 2 overall pick figures to take it easy this week
By: Doug Orth | Aug 13 2018, 5:25 pm

Saquon Barkley tweaked his hamstring at practice, source says he is fine. Giants do not seem too worried. (ESPN - Dianna Russini)

FFToday's Take: ESPN's Jordan Raanan followed a bit later and said Barkley suffered a "mild" hamstring strain. Owners should not expect to see much of the rookie for the remainder of the preseason, as hamstring strains tend to resurface if the player tries to rush the recovery. Nevertheless, Barkley should be a total yardage machine in 2018 and push for 70-80 catches if the Giants really want to max out his skills. He's a solid RB1 to build a fantasy team around in Round 1.
