New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman is facing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances, league sources told ESPN on Thursday. The suspension is currently under appeal as Edelman has taken "hundreds of tests" and has not tested positive before, a source told ESPN. (ESPN) FFToday's Take: While we wait for the appeals process to run it's course, we can speculate that Edelman will miss the first four games giving a boost to Chris Hogan and a mild bump to the plethora of other receivers and running backs currently on the Patriots roster. Edelman is coming a 2017 pre-season ACL injury but was expected to be ready for Week 1.
