Panthers sign RB C.J. Anderson
Carolina gets big back to complement McCaffrey
By: Mike Krueger | May 7 2018, 4:00 pm

Carolina Panthers
The Panthers had a vacancy for a traditional running back after not finding one in the draft, so they found a 1,000-yard rusher. A league source tells PFT that the Panthers have signed veteran running back C.J. Anderson. (ProFootballTalk)

FFToday's Take: The Panthers lost their early-down banger Jonathan Stewart in free agency to the Giants. Anderson notched his first 1000-yard season in 2017 but the Broncos never bought in to Anderson's game, releasing him this off-season. Despite the addition of Anderson, Christian McCaffrey will be the fantasy back to own in Carolina, especially in PPR leagues.
