Jason Witten retiring from NFL
Will join MNF broadcast
By: Mike Krueger | May 3 2018, 8:00 am

Dallas Cowboys
Jason Witten is retiring from the Dallas Cowboys and joining ESPN as an analyst for Monday Night Football, multiple sources told ESPN on Thursday. He has informed owner and general manager Jerry Jones and coach Jason Garrett of his decision. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: News of Witten's retirement broke last week, but the Cowboys tight end has been contemplating his decision ever since. Witten will join the Monday Night Football broadcast and leave a vacant hole at the tight end position for the Cowboys. The Cowboys drafted tight end Dalton Schultz this past weekend and currently have Geoff Swaim, Rico Gathers, and Blake Jarwin (UDFA) on the depth chart.
