Trey Burton expected to sign with Bears
Offensive weapons headed to Chicago
By: Mike Krueger | Mar 13 2018, 11:15 am

NFL Media reports that Trey Burton is expected to sign a four-year, $32 million contract with the Bears when the new league year starts on Wednesday afternoon. The Bears are also expected to sign wide receiver Allen Robinson as they remake their offense under new head coach Matt Nagy. (ProFootballTalk)

FFToday's Take: The Bears and Matt Nagy are giving weapons to young quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. First Allen Robinson and now TE Trey Burton are headed to Chicago for an offense void of playmakers at the receiving positions. Burton played second fiddle to Zach Ertz in Philadelphia but should have a chance to start in an offense typically designed to emphasize athletic, pass-catching tight ends. Burton's fantasy stock is on the rise.
