Brees staying put, two-year deal with Saints
$27 million guaranteed
By: Mike Krueger | Mar 13 2018, 9:45 am

Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints have agreed to a new two-year deal worth $50 million, a source confirmed to ESPN, keeping the future Hall of Famer off the free-agent market as expected. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: This was the expected outcome for Brees who openly stated this off-season that he wanted to remain in New Orleans. The situation became dicey as the start of the new league year inched closer and closer but ultimately the deal got done. Brees' fantasy value took a hit last season as New Orleans found success in their running game, pushing Brees down into low-end QB1, high-end QB2 territory.
