Jaguars release RB Chris Ivory
$3.6 million saved against the salary cap

The Jaguars are done with Chris Ivory. The team on Friday released the veteran running back after two up-and-down seasons in Jacksonville, saving the team $3.6 million in salary-cap room, per OverTheCap.com. (NFL.com)

FFToday's Take: While Ivory worked as the backup running back behind Leonard Fournette, he fell out of favor toward the end of last season as T.J. Yeldon and Corey Grant became preferred options. Ivory saw 17 carries in Week 15 but registered just one carry the remaining of the regular season and through the playoffs. Ivory will turn 30 on March 22nd.
