Bryce Petty will start if McCown can't go
Jets QB suffers hand injury in Week 14
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 11 2017, 7:00 am

Coach Todd Bowles said Bryce Petty will be the starter if additional tests on McCown's hand confirm that it is too risky for him to play -- and that's the right call. Petty is the No. 2 quarterback and is entitled to be the Next Man Up, but that doesn't mean the Jets can't use Hackenberg off the bench if an opportunity presents itself. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: The Jets got blanked by the Broncos yesterday and to make matters worse, quarterback Josh McCown fractured his hand. If he sits, Petty will likely get the start in Week 15 against the Saints. Christian Hackenberg could see some action over the next three weeks as well.
