Charles Clay "looking good" for Week 10
Sidelined since Week 5 with sprained MCL, torn meniscus
By: Doug Orth | Nov 9 2017, 7:10 pm

Bills coach Sean McDermott said TE Charles Clay (knee) is looking good to play Sunday after practicing again Thursday. "He practiced today, did some good things," he said. "The biggest thing is going to be first week back, how he transitions from yesterday to today -- which I thought was in the right direction - and from today to tomorrow, and going into the game." (ESPN - Mike Rodak)

FFToday's Take: Clay was one of the few constants at the tight end position through five games before going down. Even though Buffalo added Kelvin Benjamin in his absence, Tyrod Taylor has more history and/or chemistry with Clay than any other Bill pass-catcher. While he may not be able to maintain the near-70 catch pace he was on before the injury, Clay should be immediately inserted back in lineups as a low-end TE1. Nick O'Leary will return to a mere reserve role and can be dropped in most leagues.
