| Julio Jones declares himself ready for Week 6 Suffered minor hip flexor injury in Week 4 By: Doug Orth | Oct 12 2017, 6:40 pm
| Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones said a hip flexor injury won't keep him from playing against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Jones, who suffered the injury in a Week 4 loss to Buffalo, had last week's bye to rest and recover. He has been limited the last two days of practice.
"I feel great," Jones told reporters Thursday. "We just have a plan here. I've been doing it the whole year. So, limited means really nothing. I'll be ready to go." (ESPN - Vaughn McClure)
FFToday's Take: So far, the offseason talk of feeding Jones the ball more often in the red zone has yet to come to fruition. With that said, a Week 6 game against the Dolphins with Mohamed Sanu unlikely to play seems like a prime spot for him to score his first touchdown of the season. Although the lack of touchdowns is frustrating for his owners, perhaps no receiver in the NFL has a higher ceiling week to week. Continue to play him with confidence.
