Andrew Luck ruled out for Week 3
Still not cleared to practice following offseason shoulder surgery
By: Doug Orth | Sep 18 2017, 5:30 pm

Indianapolis Colts HC Chuck Pagano on Monday announced that quarterback Andrew Luck will not play on Sunday, when the team takes on the Cleveland Browns in their Week 3 matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium. “I don’t know about practice right now,” HC Chuck Pagano said. “I guess when the doctors clear him to practice, he puts the red jersey on and you guys (the media) see him out there, I see him at the same time, then we’ll know he’s ready to go and start practicing.” (Colts.com)

FFToday's Take: If Luck was expected to miss much more time, the Colts would like put him on IR with an eye on making him one of the players to return, so it is reasonable to assume he'll be able to return sometime in early October. Jacoby Brissett will continue to start in his absence.
