FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The New England Patriots confirmed Wednesday that wide receiver Danny Amendola suffered a concussion in the team's season-opening loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The disclosure was made on the official injury report, which noted that Amendola did not participate in Wednesday's practice. In addition, the Patriots noted that Amendola also has a knee injury. FFToday's Take: After a promising start to the season, Danny Amendola's chances of playing this week are not looking good. Malcom Mitchell or Phillip Dorsett could see a few snaps in Week 2 if Amendola's status does not improve by the weekend.
