Jets will name starting QB next week
HC Todd Bowles knows who it is, but won't say yet

| Coach Todd Bowles announced he would make his decision next Monday, after watching film of the team's third preseason game against the Giants. It's currently between Christian Hackenberg, who flopped in his surprise start on Saturday, and veteran Josh McCown.
"I have my own thoughts, but it’s a coach’s decision out of all of us," Bowles said Monday, but keeping those thoughts to himself. "We’ll discuss it after the game and we’ll come up with the best starter." (New York Post)
FFToday's Take: Considering veteran Josh McCown has received a majority of the first-team reps in practice - and has led the scoring-challenged offense to its only touchdown in two preseason games - it would be a stunner if the 38-year-old isn’t named the starter over youngsters Hackenberg and Bryce Petty.
