Bears' rookie RB Tarik Cohen impresses Should carve out change-of-pace role By: Mike Krueger | Aug 20 2017, 8:30 am
With starter Jordan Howard dealing with an eye issue, the Chicago Bears turned to rookie running back Tarik Cohen to start their second preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday night. The Bears rookie running back carried the ball 11 times on the night for 77 yards. He showed fantastic quickness and burst in his cuts and undoubtedly has the speed to reach the corner with consistency. (Dawindcity.com)
FFToday's Take:Cohen is undersized, making it doubtful the Bears would ever use him in a workhorse role if Jordan Howard went down with an injury but he does fit a "change-of-pace" role in the Bears offense and should see the field a fair amount in his rookie season.
