Jamison Crowder set to make preseason debut
Missed opener with hamstring injury
By: Doug Orth | Aug 17 2017, 6:10 pm

Jamison Crowder received a full workload yet again, and the plan is for him to make his preseason debut after missing the opener with a hamstring injury. It means that Kirk Cousins and the offense will take another step toward returning to full strength. Crowder has looked good in practice, winning matchups against Josh Norman when lined up outside, and Kendall Fuller or linebackers or safeties when lined up in the slot. He has used crisp route-running to shake the likes of Norman and Fuller, and speed to win against linebackers and safeties. (The Washington Post)

FFToday's Take: Despite all the hype Terrelle Pryor is getting in the fantasy community, Crowder should see the most targets in Washington. The key for him living up to his early-sixth round ADP is remaining one of Kirk Cousins' two favorite options in the red zone (along with Jordan Reed). It will be difficult for him to do given Pryor is such a big and athletic target, but PPR owners should be happy with Crowder regardless given his 90-catch upside.
