GM John Lynch with praise for 49ers RB Carlos Hyde: "Carlos Hyde looks tremendous. He's really dedicated himself." (49ers.com) FFToday's Take: Lynch was presumably talking about Hyde's conditioning - he checked in at 228 pounds, reportedly his lowest weight since high school - because the team has done little since the draft to make owners believe he will be "the man." Perhaps Lynch is trying to create a trade market for Hyde. At any rate, Hyde is a very risky fantasy investment that could be traded/released/benched at a moment's notice. Joe Williams and Tim Hightower would be the backs most likely to benefit.
