Ravens QB Joe Flacco is preparing to miss 3-6 wks with a disc issue in his back. Out at least a week or 2, sources tell me & @TomPelissero. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: It's been a rough couple days for the Ravens and training camp hasn't enough begun. First RB Kenneth Dixon has surgery on his knee and now Flacco can't shake a disc problem in his back. The Ravens aren't ready to turn the offense over to Ryan Mallett and are hoping the starting quarterback will only be sideline a week or two.
