49ers sign RB Tim Hightower
49ers add RB depth behind Hyde

The 49ers have reached an agreement with free-agent running back Tim Hightower, general manager John Lynch tweeted Saturday. The 30-year-old Hightower has made one of the NFL's most remarkable comebacks during the past two years with the Saints after spending three-plus years out of the league because of a knee injury. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Hightower saw 155 touches in New Orleans last year averaging 4.1 yards per carry, scoring 3 TDs. DuJuan Harris will compete with Hightower for backup duties behind Carlos Hyde. Hightower will be a late-round flier in redraft leagues.
