Las Vegas Raiders

Owners approve Raiders move to Las Vegas
31-1 vote opens door for Las Vegas Raiders
By: Mike Krueger | Mar 27 2017, 2:00 pm

The Oakland Raiders have received conditional approval from the National Football League to relocate the franchise to Las Vegas, Nevada. "The Raiders were born in Oakland and Oakland will always be part of our DNA. We know that some fans will be disappointed and even angry, but we hope that they do not direct that frustration to the players, coaches and staff. We plan to play at the Coliseum in 2017 and 2018, and hope to stay there as the Oakland Raiders until the new stadium opens." (Raiders.com)

FFToday's Take: Miami was the only team to cast a "no" vote. The Raiders history in Oakland is coming to an end and this will mark the third team in the last 14 months to change locations. The Raiders join the Rams and Chargers as recent teams to relocate.
