Patriots add Rex Burkhead to backfield

The New England Patriots have signed former Bengals running back Rex Burkhead, the team announced Tuesday. Terms were not disclosed. He could be eyed to fill Brandon Bolden's role in New England as a reserve running back and special teamer. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Or, he could help ease the loss of LeGarrette Blount as he tests the free agent market. In any case Burkhead brings more pass-catching ability than Blount and gives the Patriots yet another back in what's sure to be a frustrating situation for fantasy owners as Burkhead mixes in with Dion Lewis and James White.
