Bell gets franchise tag from Steelers
Exclusive tag prevents RB from signing offer with other teams

The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed the franchise tag on star running back Le'Veon Bell, the team announced Monday. Bell received the exclusive tender, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. With that designation, Bell can negotiate only with the Steelers and isn't able to sign an offer sheet with another team. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: The Steelers were never going to allow Bell to become a free agent. He's one of the best running backs in the game and will be a consensus top five fantasy pick this Summer. Injury and off-field concerns are a reality but his upside and consistent performance is worth paying for.
