Clowney underwent minor knee surgery
Left knee scope

Texans DE Jadeveon Clowney is missing his first Pro Bowl because he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. As a rookie, Clowney underwent arthroscopic surgery and microfracture surgery on his right knee. After being plagued by injuries his first two seasons, Clowney moved from outside linebacker to end this season and became a dominant force on the NFL's No. 1 defense. (Houston Chronicle)

FFToday's Take: It's a minor surgery for most players but notable because Clowney has obviously had his fair share of knee injuries already. Expect the Texans to take it slow with him during offseason practices, but Clowney should have no problem being ready for training camp.
