D-Jax a possibility for the Rams?
LA has about $40 M in cap space
By: Doug Orth | Jan 23 2017, 6:55 pm

The Rams enter the offseason with about $40 million in cap space and a desperate need -- once again -- to beef up at receiver. Alshon Jeffery is the major prize in free agency, and DeSean Jackson seems like a natural fit now that McVay, his former offensive coordinator with the Redskins, is with the Rams. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: With a clear need for a top receiver and so much cap space, the Rams will almost certainly land a top free-agent receiver, especially considering they don't have a first-round pick. Jackson is supposedly interested in a return to Philadelphia and getting older, while Jeffery hasn't shown much durability, so getting either one may be a mixed blessing. Kenny Britt is coming off his first 1,000-yard season, but LA would probably only want him back if he is agreeable to be a No. 2 receiver.
