Michael Thomas misses second straight practice
Foot injury
By: Doug Orth | Dec 8 2016, 8:15 pm

New Orleans Saints rookie WR Michael Thomas was not present on field Thursday during the portion of practice open to the media. Thomas, who did not practice Wednesday, is dealing with a foot injury. It is unclear when Thomas suffered the injury and he played the most offensive snaps (52) among the Saints wide receivers in Week 13. (New Orleans Times-Picayune)

FFToday's Take: Thomas has ascended into low-end WR1 territory as a rookie, so this is definitely a story worth tracking this weekend. Owners may remember Willie Snead suffered a supposed minor foot injury earlier in the season and ended up missing a game, and New Orleans has a history of not being the most truthful team when it comes to injuries, so owners should begin making other plans just in case Thomas has to sit against the Tampa Bay Bucs.
