Matt Jones misses practice Thursday
Knee injury
By: Mike Krueger | Oct 27 2016, 12:45 pm

Redskins running back Matt Jones is not practicing today. He hurt his knee Sunday vs. Detroit and did not practice Wednesday. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: HC Jay Gruden said on Wednesday: “If Matt has an issue where he can’t go, it would be Rob Kelley in the lead role, more likely,” Gruden said. “Chris Thompson has such an important role as far as third downs and his specialty role that we need him in that role, and he’s not a very big guy. We don’t want to give him the ball 35 times between the tackles, you know? We’d like to have a more physical guy do that.”
