Chargers look to lighten Melvin Gordon's workload RB coach says Kenneth Farrow needs more touches By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Oct 25 2016, 12:05 pm
Melvin Gordon has 158 touches in seven games for the San Diego Chargers this season. He totaled 217 touches all of last season. Backup running back Kenneth Farrow has just 31 yards on eight carries.

FFToday's Take:“We need to get Kenny in there a little bit more,” Chargers running backs coach Ollie Wilson said. “He’s not the flashy guy. It won’t look pretty but you’ll end up three or four yards down the field.
All this means is that Gordon will be looking at around 20-25 touches per week instead of 25-30. Continue to deploy him as a RB1 as usual.
