Cleveland Browns

Josh Gordon entering rehab
Future with Browns in jeopardy
By: Doug Orth | Sep 29 2016, 7:30 pm

Josh Gordon's Cleveland Browns comeback has hit another roadblock. The wide receiver announced Thursday that he is entering an in-patient rehabilitation facility in an effort to "gain full control of my life." Gordon is eligible to play in the Browns' Week 5 contest against the New England Patriots as part of the terms of his NFL reinstatement for a substance abuse violation. Gordon's decision to enter rehab, however, puts his comeback on hold indefinitely. (NFL.com)

FFToday's Take: Another setback for the surpremely talented wideout, although it shows progress he's confronting the problem personally this time around. There's simply no way of knowing how long Gordon will be away from the team and whether or not Cleveland will continue to stick with him. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport stated there is a "real chance" Gordon will never play another snap for the Browns. Given what we know at the moment, redraft owners should probably accept that possibility as well and move on.
