C.J. Spiller latches on with Seattle
C.J. Prosise expected to miss another three weeks

RENTON, Wash. -- The Seahawks have signed free-agent running back C.J. Spiller, coach Pete Carroll said in a conference call Wednesday. The deal will be for one year and has been made official by the team. To make room on the roster, the Seahawks waived running back Terrence Magee. Thomas Rawls (fibula) is expected to be out several weeks. Third-down back C.J. Prosise is dealing with a hand injury and won't be fully healed for three more weeks, Carroll said. (ESPN.com)

FFToday's Take: The stars have aligned for Christine Michael to shoulder the workload in Seattle for the near future. He should dominate the workload in Week 4 but remains a low end RB2 against a Jets defense that has given up the fourth fewest fantasy points to running backs. With the cupboards barren of any competition, C.J. Spiller will likely be used in passing situations as soon as this weekend.
