Russell Wilson diagnosed with MCL sprain Also dealing with high ankle sprain By: Doug Orth | Sep 26 2016, 5:35 pm
Pete Carroll said Russell Wilson has an MCL sprain. Says Wilson "feels great" and is recovering well. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take:Of all the adjectives Carroll could have used to describe how Wilson is feeling at the moment, "great" seems among the most unlikely. Expect the fifth-year quarterback to be labeled questionable at best when the injury report comes out. Wilson's lower-body injuries have limited him to 33 yards rushing through three games, making him a fringe QB1 at best. Rookie UDFA Trevone Boykin would get the odd if Wilson cannot go and be a high-upside QB2 in Week 4 against the New York Jets.
