Jay Ajayi out Wk 1, didn't make trip to Seattle
Upset after losing starting RB job to Foster
By: Mike Krueger | Sep 9 2016, 3:30 pm

Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi was left in Miami and will not play in Sunday’s season opener against the Seattle Seahawks. The decision was made by first-year head coach Adam Gase, who is getting set to make his NFL coaching debut. A Dolphins player said earlier this week that Ajayi, who lost the No. 1 running back job to Arian Foster, was upset over demotion. “If you let it get the best of you, it shows,” the player said. “Let’s see what you’re made of.” (Miami Herald)

FFToday's Take: Ajayi fantasy prospects have taken a nosedive ever since Foster was signed this off-season. It' likely he'll right the ship at some point and resume his role as the No.2 running back on the depth chart but for now he's a deep stash on your bench. Foster has a difficult matchup in what likely will be a bad game script but is worth RB2 consideration.
